Stamen -

The stamen is the pollen producing reproductive organ of a flower. Stamens typically consist of a stalk called the filament  which contains microsporangia. Anthers are most commonly two-lobed and are attached to the filament either at the base or in the middle portion. The sterile tissue between the lobes is called the connective.

Aggeregate Fruit -

Aggregate fruits form from single flowers that have multiple carpels which are not joined together. Each pistil contains one carpel. Each pistil forms a fruitlet, and collectively the fruitlets are called an etaerio. Four types of aggregate fruits include etaerios of achenes, follicles, drupelets, and berries.

Sepals -
Sepals is a part of the flower. Sepals in most flowers are green and lie under (or around) the more conspicuous petals. However, the term tepal is usually applied when the petals and sepals share the same color, or the petals are absent and the sepals are colorful.

Complete Dominance -

Complete dominance is when an individual carrying two alleles that are both dominant (AA), the trait that they represent will be expressed like in eye color. But if the individual carries two alleles in a manner that one is dominant and the other one is recessive, (Aa), the dominant allele will be expressed while the recessive allele will be suppressed. Hence, the heterozygote (Aa) will have the same phenotype as that of the dominant homozygote (AA).

Osmosis -
Osmosis is the movement of solvent molecules through a selectively permeable membrane into a region of higher solute concentration, aiming to equalize the solute concentrations on the two sides. It may also be used to describe a physical process in which any solvent moves, without input of energy, across a semipermeable membrane (permeable to the solvent, but not the solute) separating two solutions of different concentrations. Osmosis is important in plants because it allows water to travel from the roots to the leaves.

Buffer -

A buffer solution is an aqueous solution consisting of a mixture of a weak acid and its conjugate base or a weak base and its conjugate acid. It has the property that the pH of the solution changes very little when a small amount of strong acid or base is added to it. Buffer solutions are used as a means of keeping pH at a nearly constant value in a wide variety of chemical applications. Many life forms thrive only in a relatively small pH range; an example of a buffer solution is laundry detergent.

Codominance -

Codominance refers to a relationship between two alleles of a gene. It occurs when both of the contributions of both alleles are visible and do not over power each other in the phenotype. My dog Ty is half Yorkshire Terrier & Half Maltese. He shares both alleles.
